Program Overview

In accordance with the learning outcome ofclass LM-08, the objective of the second cycle degree programme in Molecularand Industrial Biotechnology is to allow students to master the activitiesnecessary to research and produce goods and services in the differentindustrial biotechnology sectors, in chemistry-, biochemistry-, genetics- andmicrobiology-related areas, applying the experimental scientific method asbasic approach to biotechnology disciplines. The degree programme ends with anexperimental internship that enables students to apply the theoretical andpractical notions acquired in an operational context. This internship may becarried out at the laboratories of Universities or of public or private firmsand/or bodies, either in Italy or abroad.
