Program Overview

The Master's degree course in Oriental Languages and Civilizations provides that the graduate, who must already be able to use a language of the European Union in written and oral form, gains mastery of at least one Oriental language aimed at oral and written communication, which will be combined with the knowledge of the relative ancient and modern literary history. This knowledge will be complemented by a detailed study of all the possible ideological, religious, philosophical and aesthetic articulations analyzed in their historical development, typical of the culture and civilization related to the chosen oriental language, with the possibility of widening the knowledge in the ancient antiques to the areas of competence of the course of study.
