Program Overview

The course aims to train professionals competent to provide psychological interventions according to the provisions of law 56/89 against persons, groups, social organizations and communities. Graduates in this course will be able to use integrated knowledge on emotional, cognitive and relational processes and will be able to implement targeted interventions to promote mental health. In particular, the graduate in this course will have acquired the basic tools: a) to put into practice a clinical psychology intervention, that is to be able to conduct an interview in the various phases of the intervention, analyze the question with the appropriate instrumentation (interview , focus group, text analysis, detection of critical events, analysis of local culture), planning the intervention, building the client, agree on the development goals; b) to be able to analyze cultural models, measure development indicators, analyze problematic indicators of the person and of the structure, evaluate client satisfaction in the psychological perspective, as well as indicators of social adaptation for the individual, the social and community bodies.
