Program Overview

This degree programme sets out to produce graduates possessing the knowledge and methodological and operational tools typical of the professional figure of school and community psychologist.The curriculum therefore sets the specific objective of providing graduates with psychological knowledge and competences in two macro-areas: schools and educational organisations; communities (territorial, hospitality and rehabilitation).The programme also aims to train in research and intervention methods in these areas, allowing 2nd cycle graduates to autonomously work in the professional, designing, managing and assessing:- the needs of individuals and groups of users, based on the use of appropriate tools (observation, standardised instruments);- interventions promoting quality of life, the effectiveness and efficiency of groups and organisations in the community;- interventions to prevent social conduct at risk;- lifelong learning interventions for teachers, parents and professionals working in the provision of community and personal services.
