Program Overview

The Philosophy Course, which consists of two fields of philosophy and ethics, has faculty members who specialize in various research fields ranging from ancient Greece to modern Japanese philosophy. We support the writing of master's thesis and doctoral dissertation by conducting thorough personal guidance mainly on joint exercises where all graduate students and faculty members belonging to philosophy courses participate in lectures and original text readings. In addition, the Philosophy Meeting conducts research reports and regularly publishes the journal Aichi . After graduating from graduate school, students are active in various fields such as civil servants, teachers, general companies, and publishing, in addition to the path of researchers.
