MS Biology

Our department was established in 1992 and students were accepted to the undergraduate program in 1993, graduate program in 1997 and PhD program in 1999. There are 5 departments in our department: General Biology, Molecular Biology, Zoology, Botany and Hydrobiology. The department has a staff of 11 Professors, 4 Associate Professors, 2 Assistant Professor, 1 Research Assistant and 1 Lecturer . The Biology Department offers courses on fundamental subjects such as plant and animal biology, molecular biology, genetics, physiology, microbiology, biochemistry, evolutionary biology and biotechnology along with a wide variety of elective courses based on the expertise of the department. The aims of biology department are to educate high quality graduates who loyal to Atat rk's principles, have theoretical and practical proficiency with updated and advanced levels, become productive, preferred both social and scientific terms and find solutions to problems in various fields of biology.
