Remote sensing is the acquisition of information about an object or phenomenon without making physical contact with the object and thus in contrast to on-site observation, especially the Earth. The postgraduate programme in Remote Sensing focuses on remote sensing technology, data acquisition and measurement, processing and analysis of digital images, utilisation of new techniques, and remote sensing applications.
