The course in Contemporary Family Studies seeks to attract potential researchers and policy makers in the area of contemporary family issues with a special focus on policy and practice. Given the dearth of research on family related issues on our islands, the Department of Family Studies aims to train a critical mass of researchers in this important area of study.
