The programme is expected to attract specialists already working in the youth justice sector in possession of an UG degree in a related area of study (youth and community studies, criminology, social work, social policy, sociology, psychology, anthropology) who are intent on furthering their studies in the field and graduates seeking to build up their expertise on youth justice and increase their employment prospects in the sector. The youth justice sector entails the interplay and convergence of various professionals, including probation and parole officers, youth workers, social workers, education and legal professionals, and correctional and police officers.
