Program Overview

The research projects will focus on metamaterials with special emphasis on auxetic materials and structures, negative thermal expansion materials and structures, and other systems which exhibit negative thermo-mechanical behaviour. Depending on the nature of the research project, the course is expected to be of particular interest to students with in science, architecture, medical, civil engineering and/or mechanical engineering.
