Program Overview

The overall aim of the Master of Psychology in Forensic Psychology programme is to equip students with the necessary knowledge, values, attitudes and skills required to practise as a forensic psychologist. Firstly, the taught component of the course addresses a number of key issues in forensic psychology ranging from the understanding of criminal conduct and the exploration of specific types of offending, to assessment and intervention with criminal offenders, to understanding the intersection between psychology and the law and the implications for the criminal justice system.
