Program Overview

The Master s programme in Pedagogical Sciences has two English and six Dutch specialisations, each aimed at a certain development domain. Your programme will consist of a few general subjects and two courses that are specifically geared to your specialisation of choice. Coaching is an important part of the programme. The coaching skills you learn can be used in a profession where the role of remedial educationalists is becoming more and more important.

Additional Information & Requirements

Should have an international Bachelor s degree Knowledge of relevant domains in the field of Pedagogical Sciences (16 ECTS or more), Proficiency in academic writing and critical reflection (15 ECTS or more), Proficiency in empirical research practice (20 ECTS or more), research methodology used within the social sciences, including knowledge on inter- and intra-individual research designs (e.g. experiments, surveys, observational studies) and psychometrics, Proficiency in maintaining a professional attitude (8 ECTS or more), have completed courses on (therapeutic) interview techniques or have done an internship, A proficiency in English need to have fluency in both written and spoken English. This requirement has been satisfied when the student meets one of the following conditions: A TOEFL score of 550 (paper based) or 80 (internet based), A IELTS score of 6.5.
