Agro-food biotechnology is a global trend, an important part of the green economy. Biotechnologist is a profession of the 21st century. Today, the issues of hunger and ecology are important for the whole world. Traditional technologies in the field of food industry, agriculture are not able to cope with the need to expand food production along with maintaining the ecological balance. To achieve this, fundamentally new approaches and methods are required, which are provided by modern agro-food biotechnology. In combination with innovative biotechnological methods, including microbiological synthesis, enzymatic catalysis, it is a tool for the rapid design and creation of new types of agrobiotechnological products for the food industry.
