Program Overview

You will solve the engineering problems of the modern industry that arise during research and development work related to systems of optoelectronics, optoinformatics, quantum communications, issues of information and functional security of systems. The structure of the educational program is formed in such a way as to take into account the staffing needs of Russian Railways, which is responsible for the implementation of the Quantum Communications development roadmap. You will spend more than 50% of your working time in ITMO University's scientific laboratories, as well as in partner companies of SMARTS-Quanttelecom LLC. A number of disciplines will be implemented using a stand that simulates the real equipment of the backbone quantum network.
