Program Overview

The woodwind studies aim to provide holistic training for students by developing their capacities in solo, ensemble and orchestral performance. All woodwind majors have opportunities to perform in concerts, masterclasses and outreach activities that take place throughout the academic year, both on campus and in the community. Masterclasses by world-renowned artists and chamber groups are regularly featured at the Conservatory. The students freelance regularly with professional orchestras, including the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra.
