The National University of Singapore is an autonomous research university in Singapore which was earlier formed in 1905 as a College of Medicine which was later on 1980 converted into National University of Singapore.

National University of Singapore has 17 Faculties & Schools overall: Arts and Social Sciences, Business, Computing, Dentistry, Design and Environment, Duke–NUS Medical School, Engineering, Integrative Sciences and Engineering, Law, Medicine, Music, Public Health and Public Policy. The university offers 2,000 modules under these faculties and schools every semester provides the Multi-disciplinary curriculum. The university provides more than 70 joint, concurrent and double degree courses.

The National University of Singapore has more than 39,000 students. The university has 29,130 undergraduate students and 10,406 graduate. The university has more than 5000 faculties. The student to faculty ratio is 8:1.
