Program Overview

The Master of Science (Transportation Systems and Management), or MSc(TSM) in short, is co-hosted by the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering and the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering, in the Faculty of Engineering. This is a multi-disciplinary programme designed for professionals who are working in transportation and logistics related industry. The programme involves graduate level modules taught by academic staff from the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and the Business School. Students come from a variety of background, including undergraduate degrees in engineering, science, social sciences and business management. The programme currently has approximate 50 students. Since its inception in 1994, we have received international students from Australia, P.R. China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Philippines, Thailand, United Kingdom and United States.

A good bachelor's degree with honours (at least Second Class) or its equivalent from institutions of recognised standing, CAP of 3.00 (equivalent to an average grade of B-), TOEFL ibT of 85, IELTS of 6.0
