Program Overview

The MA in Language Studies (Coursework) is a fully taught program, designed to be completed in one year of intensive full-time study, or over a longer period of part-time study. Only those locally domiciled are eligible for part-time study. Students who pursue this advanced degree may expect to encounter a variety of coursework, including the study of literature written in English, English as a second language, linguistics, the history of the English language and possibly even comparative literature and mythology.
