The Department of Mathematics, while focusing on providing education and conducting research in applied mathematics, offers basic courses on mathematic principles and mathematic thinking as well as mathematics, statistics and insurance mathematics courses for scientific computations such as mathematic modeling, numerical analysis and computational mathematics.
