Program Overview

Ophthalmology is the medical specialty which is responsible for the treatment of eye diseases. In the glaucoma subspecialty, its purpose includes diagnosis of this disorder of optic nerve through several tests. Some glaucoma require the application of a drug, this is the case of infectious and inflammatory processes. In other cases they may require surgery. Program aimed at ophthalmologists with some previous experience and interested in acquiring expertise in glaucoma. Those selected will participate in both theoretical and practical in daily practice: evidence for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the current studies.
