Program Overview

One area in which methodological needs are most evident is the field of Health Sciences, since a knowledge of design, statistics and computer tools are essential in supporting research and in producing research projects and publications in high-impact journals. The Master's Degree in Research Methodology in Health Sciences was authorised in the 1999/2000 academic year; this has been offered up to the present. It allows students again, depending on their interests to choose individual courses from within the programme to take take the full Diploma and, once this has been obtained, to continue their study until obtaining the master's degree. The master's degree programme saw the incorporation of Professor Miguel Delgado, Professor of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, a leading Spanish expert in design within in the health sector.
