Program Overview

Anti-infection therapy is of especial relevance nowadays. The dominant pathology is infection and it is good to have a thorough, up-to-date knowledge of this. Many illnesses require constant updating (HIV infection, resistant germs) and others. The Hospital del Mar, which forms part of the current Parc Salut Mar has a long tradition in the provision of care, teaching and research in infectious diseases. The Antibiotic Therapy course has now been offered for thirty-nine years, the Masters degree in Infectious Diseases (running for 18 years) as well as numerous courses in infectious pathologies in specialist areas. This year, preceded by the three diploma courses, is the seventh year this course has been offered as a Masters degree.
