Program Overview

The Master's Degree in Oncological, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Breast Surgery is therefore a highly specialised profession-oriented degree that aims to help fill the gaps detected in the training of professionals working in this field. It can also contribute to the continuous professional development of plastic surgeons working as private practitioners, given the high demand for aesthetic breast surgery. It should be noted that training in aesthetic surgery is, in general, highly deficient, as it takes up only 3 months of residents' training in Spain and is not even included on training programmes in many European Union countries. For the above reasons this master's degree is expected to be of great interest to practising surgeons.
