Program Overview

Ophthalmology is the medical specialty that deals with the treatment of eye diseases. In the subspecialty of ophthalmic plastic and orbital surgery, its goal includes the diagnosis of disorders and diseases of the eyes attachments through various tests. Certain diseases of the orbit and the lacrimal ducts require the application of a drug treatment, this is the case of infectious and inflammatory processes. In other cases they may require surgery. Program aimed at ophthalmologists with some previous experience and interested in acquiring expertise in anterior segment. Those selected will participate in both theoretical and practical in daily practice: evidence for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the current studies.
