Program Overview

The master's degree in Paleobiology and Fossil Record is designed to be taken in one academic year, and is divided into two semesters. Students must follow the programme structure and enrol in 30 compulsory classroom-based ECTS credits, 18 of which are offered in the first semester and 12 in the second semester. Once the master's degree is completed, graduates will be prepared to work in a number of professional areas. However, the most common ones can be divided into five large economic sectors: public works, hydrocarbons, museum development (cultural heritage management), exploration - dissemination, research and teaching, and environmental protection.
