The Gender and Communication master's degree was approved by the UAB's Academic Affairs Committee 03 July 2014 and had previously been approved by both the Faculty Master's Degree Committee and the Department of Media, Communication and Culture. The master's degree in Gender and Communication filled an existing gap in academic training within this area, as there was no other master's degree or postgraduate diploma specifically dedicated to this area of study. This Master's Degree in Gender and Communication offers high-quality critical training in the social factors affecting gender identities and the communicative system.
