Program Overview

The master's degree in General Health Psychology responds to the legal training requirements regulating psychology in the health care sector in Spain (Ley 33/2011, de 4 de octubre, General de Salud P blica. Disposici n adicional s ptima. Regulaci n de la psicolog a en el mbito sanitario). According to this provision, in order to professionally work as a General Health Psychologist, it is compulsory that the person complete the master's degree in General Health Psychology (M ster Universitario en Psicolog a General Sanit ria - MUPGS), with a minimum of 180 ECTS credits in specific health care related contents offered either in the master's degree or in the undergraduate degree in Psychology.
