The Psychology of Social Intervention is one of the fundamental academic and scientific fields of specialization of Psychology. Psychology has not only been interested in the approach to individual psychological problems, but also in the analysis and intervention aimed at solving the social problems of each historical moment and culture: gender violence, war conflicts, prejudice and discrimination against marginalized groups and improvement of their quality of life, promotion of health, environmental quality and sustainability, reduction of social inequalities, attention to minors at risk of exclusion, school coexistence, etc.
