The Master Programme in the Humanities, specialising in Musicology, runs over two academic years, but it is also possible to graduate after one academic year. The programme is designed to allow flexibility for you as a student to choose an area of specialisation with supervision and mentorship by senior academic staff. In addition to a broad array of courses in musicology and the possibility to take courses in other disciplines at the faculty, there is also the possibility to study abroad for a term.
A Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university. The main field of study must be within the humanities or social sciences. Also required is 60 credits in musicology, ethnomusicology or a similar field of study.IELTS of 6.5 and no section below 5.5. TOEFL (Paper-based) Score of 575 and TOEFL (Internet-based) Score of 90.
