Program Overview

The specialisation provides you with cutting-edge expertise through in-depth studies in the field of bio- and nano materials. The studies combine theoretical knowledge and practical skills in polymer chemistry, organic chemistry, chemical biology, as well as materials chemistry, and include the chemical and physical properties of soft materials, applied to, e.g., medical applications. This is a major growth area and you will learn more about, e.g., tissue engineering, soft functional materials, both on the nanoscale as well bulk properties, biosensors, and materials for drug transport and delivery.

Additional Information & Requirements

A Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university. Also required is 90 credits in chemistry, biology and physics, of which at least 60 credits must be in chemistry.IELTS of 6.5 and no section below 5.5. TOEFL (Paper-based) Score of 575 and TOEFL (Internet-based) Score of 90.
