Program Overview

German Linguistics, Modern German Literature and German Studies Medieval Studies form the three sections of the Department of German Philology at the University of Basel. Against the background of the cultural-scientific reorientation of the humanities, the historical-philological competence with the development of current and innovative impulses - for example the postcolonial studies, the discourse analysis, the cognitive and sociolinguistics or the communication theory - becomes one of a variety of objects and objects Connected theory spectrum. Additional Information & Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in the field of German Philology at the University of Basel or with proof of equivalent academic achievements, provided at a university recognized by the University of Basel, of which at least 11 credits in Germanic Medieval Studies, IELTS of 6.0, TOEFL ibT of 80, English language (level B2 or C1), Letter of Motivation, CV, German Language Proficiency.
