Program Overview

Slavic studies deal with the Slavic cultures of Eastern Europe, primarily with literature, film and language and the corresponding methodologies; this happens in a cultural-scientific perspective. The Master's program conveys in-depth knowledge, taking into account the respective cultural-historical context, and offers thematically, regionally and linguistically the opportunity to prioritize their own priorities. The topics covered include the analysis of individual texts and films, literary and epoch-historical, aesthetic and societal issues, as well as everyday cultural aspects in each context.
