The study of Hispanics opens up correspondingly many career opportunities, be it in international companies and organizations, in tourism, in the media industry, in research or in school. At Master's level, students deepen their expertise in linguistics Hispanic (varieties and development of European and American Spanish, analysis in synchrony and diachrony) and literary studies Hispanic (Spanish and Hispanic-American literature including their cultural social, historical and political context).

Bachelor's degree in Hispanic Studies from the University of Basel or equivalent academic achievements in this field of study at a university recognized by the University of Basel, IELTS of 6.0, TOEFL ibT of 80, English language (level B2 or C1), Letter of Motivation, CV, German Language Proficiency.
