Actuarial Science as an interdisciplinary science analyzes issues of actuarial science, risk analysis and financial theory. Mathematical models are applied to economic issues in order to identify, assess and evaluate risks. The discipline and science are of exceptional economic and social importance and deal, among other things, with questions of financing the social work or the solvency of the insurance industry. The master's program Actuarial Science is aimed at people who want to deepen their mathematical interests in a practice-oriented way and combine them with economic and social topics.
