Master in Theology Extra faculty

Students of the non-faculty subject Theology acquire theological and religious studies competences for different fields of activity in science, church, society and culture.Theology study is a Studium generale in the truest sense of the word. It includes an exploration of languages and language, the historical and cultural foundations of biblical texts, current ethical issues, history, philosophy, theological tradition and practice, as well as contemporary culture (s) and other religions. The study contents are all basic theological disciplines: Old Testament, New Testament, Church History, Systematic Theology (Dogmatics and Ethics) and Practical Theology. Special emphasis is given to interdisciplinary cooperation with Jewish studies, classical studies, gender studies, African studies and religious studies.
