Anthropology investigates the basic evolutionary and biological processes that led to the evolution of man. Two main fields of anthropology are represented at the University of Zurich: evolutionary behavioral biology investigates the evolution and tradition of behavioral patterns in humans and their closest relatives in laboratory and field tests and by using theoretical socio-biological models.
