Natural scientific methods for the analysis of remnants of human culture have become indispensable in archeological practice. The master's program Archeology and Natural Sciences, unique in Switzerland, takes this development into account. He combines the teaching of scientific methods with questions, theories and methods of Egyptology, Classical Archeology and Prehistoric and Provincial Roman Archeology. This integrative integration of cultural history and natural sciences introduces students to an interdisciplinary research culture and promotes interdisciplinary thinking and working.
