Program Overview

The Institute of Physical Education, Health and Leisure Studies (PEHL), founded in 2005, is an integral part of today s lifelong education. One of the largest and top-ranking institutions of its kind in Taiwan, the PEHL offers a master s program leading to careers as educational and health-related specialists, recreational managers, physical education and health-related educators, coaches and researchers. The mission of the Institute of Physical Education, Health and Leisure Studies is to promote health and examine leisure behavior and leisure services through the creation, transmission and application of knowledge related to physical activity. Furthermore, students are prepared to deliver services, manage resources and teach others to do so.
