Master in Environmental and Occupational Health

1 Year On Campus Masters Program

National Cheng Kung University

Program Overview

Rapid economic and industrial development during the past decades has resulted in a severe deterioration of environmental qualities in Taiwan. Consequently, adverse health effects implicated by exposures to these environmental pollutions are among top of public concerns. In addition, southern Taiwan has long inherited some very unique environmental and occupational exposures rarely seen in other parts of the country. It makes it even more imperative and meaningful for our Department, essentially the most comprehensive one in southern Taiwan in terms of its areas of technical expertise for investigating issues of environmental and occupational health, to commit ourselves in educating and training of professionals in this regard.
