The MSc Biomedical Engineering is the first program of its kind in the GCC. This dynamic, multidisciplinary program will prepare you for advanced careers and/or doctoral studies related to biomedical engineering.Recent developments in the Middle East and North Africa region, and specifically in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, have increased the need for biomedical engineers. The tremendous rate of population growth in the MENA region is accompanied by a concurrent demand for and growth in healthcare services, such as hospitals, clinics, medical colleges, medical technology suppliers and biomedical engineering, which is reported to be one of the fastest growing engineering discipline worldwide.

Additional Information & Requirements

Hold a four-year bachelor s degree from an independently accredited university recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education s Higher Education Affairs Division and by AUS, have attained a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.00 (on a scale of 4.00) or its equivalent, and 3.00 or its equivalent in 300- and 400-level courses in discipline(s) relevant to the graduate program, official university transcript(s) and official graduation certificate certified by the appropriate authorities, colored passport scan, colored UAE national ID scan, updated CV, English Proficiency Requirements-TOEFL:a minimum score of 80 on the Internet-based TOEFL (iBT), or a minimum score of 550 on the Institutional Paper-based TOEFL, IELTS: a minimum overall score of 6.5 on the Academic version, Applicants have to prepare and attest all the required university and high school certificates and transcripts before leaving their home country, Required to present two recommendation forms/letters
