Step-by-Step Guide to Admission Requirements at American University of Sharjah

The below information is required while
completing the university application :

Academic Requirements:

AUS requires applicants following the American curriculum to hold a minimum Grade 12 CGPA of “B”, or an average of 80% across Grades 10–12. Additionally, applicants must achieve a minimum score of 450 in SAT Math or 500 in EmSAT Achieve Math (ACT Math score of 16 accepted for international applicants).

English Language Proficiency:

Applicants must demonstrate proficiency with minimum scores of IELTS — 6.5, TOEFL iBT — 80, TOEFL ITP — 550, or EmSAT English — 1550.

Holistic Evaluation:

Admissions are competitive and based on academic performance, test scores, and overall applicant qualification in line with seat availability and applicant pool.
