Program Overview

The growing need for highly qualified individuals to fill lead positions in educational and proselytizing (Da'awah) institutions in the country has made it necessary to enable UAE nationals and residents to access higher education programs in their chosen specializations and effectively implement the country s development plans. In response to this need, and in accordance with the mission and vision of the University of Sharjah and the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, the Department of Foundations of Religion has launched this program; especially that it possesses a wealth of qualified faculty, and teaching and research resources.

Certificate equivalence from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Certificates issued from outside the UAE, A certified copy of the applicant's University transcript, A certified copy of the applicant's University Degree , A copy of identity card, passport, Two recommendation letters from professors, Curriculum Vitae, The student must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university with a CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00. Students with a CGPA between 2.5 and 2.99 may be admitted conditionally.550 on the TOEFL (PBT) (should be taken inside the university), 79 on the TOEFL (IBT) (outside the university) or 6 on IELTS (Academic).
