We aim to enable our graduates to compete in the area of social sciences research, where they can address social issues and policymaking in the UAE, the Arabian Gulf and other Arab societies. In addition, the department aims to achieve distinction in university and community service.

Certificate equivalence from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Certificates issued from outside the UAE, A certified copy of the applicant's University transcript, A certified copy of the applicant's University Degree , A copy of identity card, passport, Two recommendation letters from professors, Curriculum Vitae, The student must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university with a CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00. Students with a CGPA between 2.5 and 2.99 may be admitted conditionally.550 on the TOEFL (PBT) (should be taken inside the university), 79 on the TOEFL (IBT) (outside the university) or 6 on IELTS (Academic).
