Technology in the Marine Environment MRes provides research training, supervision and collaboration to international standards in the topics covered by the marine technology research groups. The MRes breaks down into approximately 40% taught modules and 60% research in collaboration with an industrial partner. The substantial marine technology research community, including 50 research students, 140 MSc students, six-10 post-doctoral students, six technicians and 16 full-time academic staff, provides you with opportunities to progress your career, whether in industry or academia.
A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in subjects related to: marine technology, engineering, science, maths, environmental studies. IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in all sub-skills).
