This MA provides a broad academic and professional training in all aspects of museum work, and encourages students to reflect on the concept of the museum and its associated practices. Grounded in museum practice and research, the programme looks at all types of museums.
A minimum of an upper second-class Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. Applicants should also have gained experience of working in museums or related organisations (this experience is often gained in a voluntary capacity). IELTS- standard level overall grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6 in each of the subjects/good level overall grade of 7 with a minimum of 6.5 in each of the subjects/advanced level overall grade of 7.5 with a minimum of 6.5 in each of the subjects. TOEFL - standard level score of 92 overall with 24/30 in reading and writing and 20/30 in speaking and listening/ good level score of 100 overall with 24/30 in reading and writing and 20/30 in speaking and listening/ advanced level score of 109 overall 24/30 in reading and writing and 20/30 in speaking and listening.
