The Architecture MArch (ARB/RIBA Part 2) at UCL’s Bartlett School of Architecture is a two‑year, full-time master’s that helps you take your architectural skills to the next level. Curriculum Structure

Year 1:
In your first year, you’ll develop your design skills in Advanced Architectural Design I, working in studios with expert guidance. Advanced Architectural Studies helps you place your work in historical and theoretical context, while Design Realization gives you practical skills to bring your ideas to life using materials, technology, and environmental considerations.

Year 2:
The second year focuses on pushing your creativity further. Advanced Architectural Design II allows you to refine complex design concepts, and the Advanced Architectural Thesis is your chance to create a major independent project that showcases your vision and research. Optional field trips in locations like Rome, Morocco, or Finland give real-world insight and inspiration for your work.
