The MArch Advanced Architecture Design at the University of Nottingham is an intensive one-year master’s that hones your architectural skills through specialist design projects, urban theory, and sustainability-focused approaches. Additional Information & Requirements

2:1 in architecture or a similar subject. This must include modules in architectural design amounting to 25% to 50% of total credits

Applicants to all MArch programmes are required to submit a portfolio of their design work with their application

The portfolio should have: a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 pages and a front cover of the portfolio that shows your full name

IELTS: 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in each element), TOEFL iBT: 90, with minimum sub-scores: 19 in Writing & Listening, 20 in Reading, 22 in Speaking

For India: Tier 1 universities - 60% ; GPA on a 4.0 scale: 3.0 ; GPA on a 7.0 scale: 4.2 ; GPA on an 8.0 scale: 5.0 ; GPA on a 10.0 scale: 6.0

Tier 2 universities - 65% ; GPA on a 4.0 scale: 3.2; GPA on a 7.0 scale: 4.5; GPA on an 8.0 scale: 5.3; GPA on a 10.0 scale: 6.5

Tier 3 universities - 70% ; GPA on a 4.0 scale: 3.4; GPA on a 7.0 scale: 4.8 ; GPA on an 8.0 scale: 5.6; GPA on a 10.0 scale: 7.0

For USA: A minimum GPA of 3.2 or a B+ grade average
