Curriculum Structure
Autumn (Term 1): You’ll start by building a solid foundation with courses like International Business Economics and Analytical Methods for Finance & Business Economics. Alongside this, Accounting for Decision Makers and Quantitative Methods for Finance & Business will help you think critically with numbers, and the Trading module gives you hands-on experience simulating real financial markets.
Spring (Term 2): The focus shifts to advanced tools and insights. Data Processing, Coding & Visualisation teaches you to handle and interpret large datasets, while Financial and Time Series Econometrics helps you analyze trends in financial data. Financial Markets and Institutions and Managerial and Human Resource Economics provide practical understanding of firms and markets, and Research Methods for International Finance and Business prepares you for independent, impactful research.
Summer (Term 3): You’ll bring everything together in the Business Economics Research Project, where you get to investigate a topic that interests you and apply your skills to produce original research. It’s a chance to showcase your knowledge and creativity.
