You’ll also study Project Management, gaining skills in risk analysis, scheduling, and project software, and Supply Chain Planning and Management, which covers forecasting, MRP, JIT, ERP systems, and collaborative planning approaches such as CPFR and VMI.

Year 1 (Spring & Summer – Core Modules):
The focus shifts to Design of Operations Facilities and Systems, where you’ll explore global location modelling, warehousing, and omni-channel logistics. You’ll also take Operations and Supply Chain Strategy and Practice, analysing sustainability, new technologies, and performance measurement in supply chains. Modules such as Procurement and Purchasing and International Logistics and Transport provide practical insights into sourcing, negotiation, compliance, and global freight systems.

Final Stage (Dissertation/Business Project):
You’ll complete either a 60-credit dissertation or a Business Project, working in groups to tackle real-world supply chain challenges. This applied project allows you to integrate theory with practice, conducting research, analysing data, and presenting viable solutions to industry problems.
