This course focuses on developing research skills allowing graduates to maximize their effectiveness in making a difference to organisations, clients and to society at large. The course will give students the skills and experience they need to become successful researchers, and to convey their message to the wider world effectively. Graduates will be very competitively placed to advance their research careers, perhaps by moving on to a PhD. The MRes is an award that may be the first step towards an academic research career. It would also be relevant for students keen to pursue research in other organisations with client-focused settings.
A first class or upper second class honours degree in a relevant subject that includes a preliminary training in research methods, or equivalent, IELTS of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each language skill, PTE/ CAE/ CPE/ Trinity or TOEFL iBT qualifications (taken outside the UK only), A copy of your degree certificate, A copy of your academic transcripts, One or two letters of reference, Criminal Records Check
